Roman's new song for the drama Misiku Kuza
This is how it works... "cable". To come up with a song is the most easy part, but the part is really killing it is the money involved to get it produced. A large amount of stress came between the person who did the song and the producer. In this case, i can see how an artist should learn to produce his own shit. This would be much original i would. Then you can call this "your song"... but if you get the producer to bring in instrumental side into it, or add in that and add in this... then there is a workload involved. This is hard. So can we actually actually measure that?
Someone said that there is a measurement for this, but not in Malaysia
I learnt from the song that Amylea did. This is how it works... she got a script first from the producer of the drama, then she did a song that tally with the whole thing. Some times she recycle. But what ever it is she got did it good to fit in well with the director. Yes the "cable" was there, but the point is that why she always got the gig? This is simply because they like to work with her. She did a good job. She gave what they need. The lesson here is " Give what they need."
If they like candy we add sugar, if they like coffee we make it bitter.
I understand this clearly. Sometimes i can give what you want... but most of the time, I prefer to give you what i want :)
The song Amylea did went well because the drama Misiku Kuza got hit. The song actually nominated for musik musik. Along side this whole experience, i got a chance to meet up with a long lost jemming friend once a upon a time, Wahi. The whole experience with Amylea and Roman also i got to meet DJ Fuzz, Ammar Habir and Ash Gabba gabba.
