Yesterday 10 November had a gig at the Laundry Bar. It was Reza Salleh's Moonshine and i realized this once i got there (Udpated by my wife's I phone). First practice was at Rythmn Mix studio and the second Nazara Studio. The band was Mad's project (he is sidekick gitarist for Liyana Fizi). He composed his own as well, and the sound is Totally different to what i use to play. I love it. My task is to fill in few slots in the composition with rap. This is the first time i was asked to rap. hahahaha. I wish i am super good at it, but to be frank i am sux. But I LOVE to do it. Anything new for me is a cosmic experience. The band is collective sort of, i mean the players. For example the effect guitarist plays metal, but Mad's originals is like the other way round.
The blend is odd. But oddity is where the adrenalin is hahahaha. I hope they call me again to join their project. All of the players seems to have a much more experience and musically more literate than I am. I want to hang out with them more... how can i do this?
Other findings: Hahhaha, Finally, a long time no see fellas: Paolo- good as always, Reza- the hardworking man that brings up his Moonshine to the moon! and a discovery- The Impatient Sisters whom me and Reza thought they were too young to enter the bar! and to Meor and his gangs that showed up that night dan Zaim, Izham dan rakan yg datang untuk mendengar. Sebab korang semangat aku berkobar kobar nak perfom.
