I met the Tongkat at my first time on stage in KL, which is the Doppelganger open mic. Meo (the tongkat's lead vocal and rhythm) told hook me up with this one. Mega thanks to Adib from Telephony Delivery came in and drum with me, punyer ler segan aku nak main malam tuh. HUJAN was there! a top malay band that plays WTF they want. I am pretty sure I saw them play on the sidewalk 3 years ago somewhere in KL. This band has a rhetorical impact in the local music scene for their 'selamba' appearance on the stage, a natural performance, true jamming pirates. I saw them 3 times already!
